You may be using the wrong timing system 700 1990

It's between the turbo and the intercooler. There's a big tube going into the intercooler frmo the turbo attached by a flexible joint and a smaller hose that comes from the same spot. It's off the smaller hose. I put my finger over the end a few times to check for any suction or pressure but got nothing. It has to be air I'd think or something would be coming out of it.

I thought about the exhaust manifold gasket too but am wondering what exactly would be leaking from it since the stuff doesn't seem to be just exhaust since it's darker. Are there any other passages bordered by this gasket, particularly around the second spark plug back from the front near the bolts for the heat shield? Also, the leak continued for at least a few minutes after the car was off making me wonder what could be being produced and omitted without the engine running.
