volvo repair

I would say that the majority of us do most of our own work...especially anything that is unique to a Volvo. I did search the "Shops" section and there is nothing listed by a board member near Columbia. Mechanics with knowledge and experience with RWD Volvo's are harder to find every day, but many of the problems common to them are similar to BMW and Mercedes of the same era so "European Car Specialists" are often a good place to look...especially if you see a lot of 1980's iron rolling around the parking lot.

Assuming you are unable or unwilling to do the work yourself, it still helps if you can walk into a shop armed knowing the potential problem to assist in your BS meter calibration. Tell us the symptoms in as much detail as possible and will will be happy to help you in that area.

Mike
