Preemptive Starter Replacement 200

So one of the few parts I have not repaired/replaced on my Brick is the starter. And from what I can tell in my service records it is the original starter with about 195k miles on it.

My question is, should I consider replacing the starter before it fails or just wait and see?

The car is a manual M47 so I won't be completely stranded if it dies and it shows no sign of quitting yet... Just wondering what the expected life span of a stock starter is.

Thanks,
Bert
