so close to starting 1800 1971

did a simple test to see if i had a signal problem or an injector problem. when i plug lead 2 into injector 1 or 3 i get nothing. when i plug lead 1 or 3 into injector 2 i still get spray. changed out two injectors with "spares" and still got same results. how did i go from injectors that check at 2.6 ohms and good spray on the machine to nothing at all. are they that finicky? is my reasoning sound that i have that many bad injectors? keep in mind the car has been apart for years. thanks.
