Call them. A compressor should come loaded with the right amount of lube, but the type might be up in the air. A lot of r134 compressors come loaded with PAG oil... not compatible with ester or mineral oils. An r12 compressor would come with mineral oil, so you'd need to drain it and fill with ester oil.

I got a generic Sanden 709 clone from Nostalgic Air for my '91 745. Just requires a very slight tweak to one of the lines. Comes loaded with PAG, but I flushed all the other oil out of the system.
