Well, it looks like that '91 240 has received a major maintenance, which is a good thing. One thing I really like to get whenever I buy a used car is all the maintenance records. If you're thinking about this car, then ask about them.
However, the asking price is more than twice what I'd expect to have to pay for a clean '91 240. Quite a bit more. For example, I bought a '90 760 Turbo sedan three years ago for $1,000. It had about 220k on the clock when I bought it. The body was clean and it was mechanically sound. I had to do some minor maintenance to it -- rear brake pads, fuel hoses and filter, timing belt, cooling system flush, new tires. Everything works except for the sunroof (it's electric -- figures), and it's been a very reliable car. I figure if it blew up today, I'd have more than gotten my money's worth out of it.
