I like what you did, except for the needless electric fuel pump.

I would check the timing by pulling all of the plugs, crank the engine so #1 is at bottom, turn the ignition to on, ground #1 plug, and crank the engine until you see a spark. It should be 10-15 degrees BTDC.

Did you oil the rings? Without oil, your compression could be close to zero.
