If compressed air won't get them out, which is certainly possible given how corroded the pistons get can get, I've had great luck using a grease gun. Even a small lever operated unit will generate several thousand psi, in small controllable increments. It's a pain to clean out later, but if air won't budge them it's the next best thing.
