Thank you George 120-130 1967

What a magnaminous offer! Unfortunately, my work space and my 3/4 socket set probably would not be enough. I think I would be better off driving downhill on I-35 and using your shop. Three or four days and I would have a new rear main seal (yours, btw) installed and possibly some rear suspension rubber which creaks a lot these days.

The real problem is still unresolved. Letting a car sit for 6 months each and every year. That is why the engine is leaking oil, lack of use and the felt seals dried up and got hard. Same with all of the other rubber parts, like the boot for the shift fork. This is a Volvo, it NEEDs to be used and is willing to be pushed.

Don't worry, I will not sell the Princess Warroir to someone who lives in the rust belt.

Klaus
