Passing on this problem to a perspective buyer could happen if you somehow prevented that buyer from taking a test drive. I figure I am the only 240 fool who has bought them without even starting the engine. Much more difficult to conceal this "loud bang," than your research before posting.
Reminding me "again" you have two cars with this trouble (really, I have not already forgotten), and the likely cause in common seems more of an attempt to persuade than dissuade a reader of the obvious retreat path -- much less costly than shooting yourself. Are you thinking the Wolf's Head has a different sort of bite compared to the Redline, Amsoil, and Mobil One most synthetic users have splurged on? That's the subject for research, if you want to try to fix this from the keyboard.
