The technique I think is in the FAQ under Mechanics Tips, but here's how to do it. Use a torch to warm up the frozen fitting. Apply melted candle or beeswax to the exposed threads. Heat more. Bang it a few times to try to loosen joints. More melted wax. Then try to remove the fitting using a good flare wrench. One trick is to start by first tightening the joint ever so slightly, then loosening from there. Amazingly, it seems to work. Another is to heat the female side and use ice or cold spray (Permatex makes it) on the male fitting to shrink it.
