This is what the mechanic said.


"So, they kinda prepped you guys with what's going on. 2800 parts and labor, warrantee.

oil light is on, either spun a bearing or threw a rod. 9 times out of ten you lose oil pressure due to oil pump,

the o-rings around the oil pump where they bold into thebottom of the block split or blow out.

new engine doesn't have to be from a manual, it should be from 86 to 93"
