Well I have tightened the belt to the point where the bracket has broken. in the past. I have switched to a taller belt which helps. Heavy rain is still an issue for this powerful alternator. It works hard making a lot of force to turn. If I keep moisture to a minimum it will work better. I guess no one here has had the experience. I have to do my own research for a splash guard.
