More info:
Early 164 used crossmember 1212287-5
Late 164 used crossmember 1206212-1

All 140s used crosmember 679185-9
So they are different, although what the differences are I'm not sure.
If it is nice tomorrow I will see what I can see between my 145E and my 164s.
