142 Center Console 140-160

Congrats on the new car. I purchased a '72 142S this summer as an homage to my '71 142S I had in high school.

I believe mine has the center console thingy you are referring to, which I've never seen before until I bought this car. It has a tray on the firewall end, and transitions into an armrest that flips up to reveal a storage bin, which is good since my '72 doesn't have a glovebox. (The AC's vent is there instead.) It is quite handy and has shown me the value of an armrest. Now I want an armrest for my 240!

Enjoy the car!
