very rare no start situation solved.

The insects do incredible stuff. This is a great story! Here in CA we are cautioned about a spider that likes the smell of natural gas. They will nest in pilot flame sensing tubes in the summer and then you can't get your old fashioned furnace to light comes winter. I experienced this years ago in an apartment, circa 1948, that we lived in. Late last year I worked on a 1983 coupe from TX. Could not get the HVAC vents to work. On the right side I found that condensation had caused rust that clogged the little metal elbow on the vacuum reservoir by the heater. On the left side I found the vacuum hose missing. Plugging it in did not solve the vent problem so I assumed the elbow was also clogged. It was. With the remains of some sort of dead insect that had crawled inside.
