lowering kit 140-160 1972

I installed the IPD lowering kit on my 72 142S back in the early 80's. It cost over $300.00 then, but it made a huge difference to the car. Absolutely transformed it. The only other change was an R-Sport front sway bar, and 185/70-15 tires on the stock wheels. I used Monroe cheap shocks.
After that car I bought a 1979 242GT brand new, and I don't think the GT handled any better than the 142.
Go for it.
Rhys
