Yeah... I know. And the odometer seems spot on, so I really don't want to mess with it too much. I'm pretty sure the odometer reading is accurate and true.

And I know my speeds in gears, based on simple engine noise, and RPM. I expect I've covered a half million miles in pre-'74 Volvos. No speeding tickets yet... knock on wood.
