Are you saying the light is on but the OD is not engaging? Is this car new to you? The system is designed for the OD to be the normal mode--no light. Light on is to remind you that the OD is in the off position--maybe switched off because you were towing, going up a steep hill or driving in heavy city traffic. -- Dave
