FWIW and IMHO neutral and clutch safety switches are for people who should not be driving.
Every car I have had with a starter cut out linked to the clutch I have immediately disabled, and if I had a neutral safety I would bypass it just as quick.
if a person (novice or not) can't remember to depress the clutch and put it in neutral to start they probably should not be driving, especially a nice old 120.
I guess i'm getting curmudgeonly,
I blame it on the gout!
