Are you talking about under the master cylinder in the engine compartment?

Or under the carpet under the dashboard?

The latter is where you'll find evidence of your leak.

You can hone them. May or may not help. If not pitted, just clean thoroughly and replace seals. Proper rebuild would be to have it sleeved, and for the clutch, new cylinders (master and slave) are likely less expensive.
