Mystery hose???

I have pulled up the carpet and the protective shield where the tank wires come out and have looked through the hole between the cargo area and the tank to try and determine what it plugs into to no avail. After looking through the brickboard it seems as though there the differential has a vent as well. I think that might be a possibility. I'll try to get under there tonight to see. I'll try once again to post a picture. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I cut and paste the Image Library but it doesn't seem to show up.
