Walter;
I LOVE the cornering transformation resulted from installing Stage II IPD (Front 1 1/8", Rear 3/4") on all my vehicles...(my experience is with 140, 122 and 1800), ...I wouldn't have a vintage Volvo without them at this point!!! Increasing the front bar from stock, alone, increases the oversteer, so I wouldn't recommend it...you'd be missing much of the advantage...adding the rear bar brings handling back to more neutral IIRC...fine tune handling to your liking with tire pressures...I can't give a more positive testimonial FOR! It really allows one to take advantage of modern low profile tires...instead of wallowing around corners, scrapping the door handles, it allows the tires to dig in to give you max lateral Gs, resulting in an SOB turn (...no, not that, but: Slide over Baby!...snug that seat-belt!!) Strong Advice: Rear bar MUST be installed with floor reinforcements or will tear out...every time!...the forces wanting to do that are tremendous, and if the bar is tearing itself out of the mount, its putting forces in the wrong place...those forces want to be on the suspension!
Cheers
