Neutral lockout switch on BW 35 140-160 1972

Well, went underneath again and hooked left side terminal of L/O switch, moved the gear selector and it started. There was a lot of slop in the linkage and I replaced the bushing that fits to the tranny. Guess what? Can't find sweet spot again, no start. Also the reverse lights worked for the 1st time in 4 years but when I hooked up the connector to the left side of the L/O switch they quit The fuse for the reverse has lights blown twice. I'm thinking I need a new switch. Consensus. Are there still any out there? Thanks for your help in advance!!
