Replacing camshaft 120-130

To expand on what Eric said, it is absolutely possible but likely more work because
you have to pull the oil pan, which means you have to either pull or at least lift the
engine or drop the crossmember. But once you get it open from the bottom and front,
it is pretty straightforward. In fact once you pull the cam it is generally easier to
get the lifters out the bottom because they often mushroom at the interface with the
cam, especially if cam and lifters are very worn.
