I know nothing about the right way to disable the airbags.
Some say just remove the key from the ignition, while others say the first position is OK as well. Since the driver's seat works without the key in the ignition, it probably does not matter which.

I bought a used seat frame assembly from an auction site and learned about the mounting of gearboxes, etc inside it.
