attaching high mileage badge?

greetings all-
I was wondering if anyone's had luck attaching one of the older Volvo high mileage badges (with sticker backing) to their front grill instead? I thought I'd seen pic of it attached that way but doesn't seem so easy to do with just adhesive backing and wondering what solution would be? Anyone tried it? Or if attached to back near license plate with original adhesive, how easy is it to remove when time comes to swap out for next higher mileage increment?
