lights 1800

Hello,

Except for the headlights, ALL of the external lights on all 1800 Volvos get their grounds through the mounting studs/screws, so it is important that the areas on the body that is under the mounting nuts/screw heads are clean and can pass ground to the backing plate.

We like to use KEP nutS or a nut along with an internal or external toothed lock washer, so that good contact is made for the ground path.

FYI, a KEP nut has a toothed lock washer attached and they are available in most USS/UNF and metric threads.
