Quick test for 12V from Ignition switch 700 1990

To test for KPII voltage leaving the ignition switch, use a 12V test light at the Starter Service Socket in the pic below. Note that this point is before the Neutral Safety switch, in the circuit to the starter solenoid.

Note that this socket terminal may be a bit corroded due to it's location, so you may not see voltage until terminal has been probed a few times for a good contact.
