Eric is right.
3 problems:
If the switch button is covered by rubber the rubber gets stiff and keeps the button from coming all the way out.
The spring that pushes the button out is not very strong.
The actual contacts in the switch are also problematic and like most Euro electrics, develop an invisible nonconductive film that prevents ground contact.
