What to do when you can't make time to work on your car?

You're lucky to have a backup plan. Like George, my efforts were always "do or die" and creative mechanicking sometimes arose from those midnight sessions with teeth chattering and frozen fingers. There is always the "Enterprise Option" until you find space for a spare vehicle. What a treat to have one with parts that interchange! I was never smart enough to seek out a relationship with a pro.

By the way, if you don't have air tools, give that fuel filter job to a pro, or at least wait until it is about to rust through or shows symptoms of clogging (strains up hills).
