Now Seattle....let's play nice.

Kittys came up with some excellent possibilities for my engine noise.....if I forced the crank to turn and one piston could not go up far enough because rope was in the cylinder somthing had to give if noise started after that......I checked my other posts and I did start the engine prior to rope ingestion and she ran fine.....just was getting late that night and I screwed up the balancer not keying it properly on crank... then in my hast I turned it over with rope and no spark plug in #1 ....was a real Boneheaded Blunder.....

not sure this is it....also not sure what the strength of the metals in the cranking compression train is.....what would give first?

What would bent rod, rod connection to piston, or bent piston head or skirt look like in compression readings?
