Thanks for all the responses. It´s this sharing of information that was the original intent of internet and it´s great that it still exists among the ever increasing mountains of ads.

I´ll be starting with the suggestion of replacing cap and rotor first. Hopefully this is all that is needed. I´m suprised that my mechanics didn´t suggest it. If this doesn´t take care of the problem I´ll have to delve into the more complicated suggestions. I´ll be posting progress reports.
