Um... Airless tires?

This appears to be one of three designs that have popped up over the years...but the first time I saw it on anything but an obvious test mules.

DARPA did have a challenge for this a few years ago and I forget the college team that one but a "leading manufacturer" did a test lot. Like everything with DARPA we may never know the results.

I honestly see more commercial uses than military. Military already has foam filled tires and on-board compressors.
