1992 960 Wagon Brake Handle Cable

Have you talked to anyone at these sources?

When I had to get a new cable for our '88 745 GLE. I talked to a guy at a site called Parts a Million and he was able to send me the right cable based on VIN.

Have you lookerd under the car to see what the cable looks like in the rear.

Mine was hinged to the axle tube and the hinge was rotted away as well - it was not avaikable separately, just welded to a new axle housing.

I was able to fabricate a new hinge and fastened it with a U-bolt.

BTW - Volvo wanted something like $120, Foreign Autoparts, a locat store wanted about $70.

If I remember correctly PAM price was $16 and it came quickly in a plastic bag marked Made in Sweden, printed in Volvo blue and looked to be high quality!
