All better 120-130

Well, even though the pump ran it could not meet the spec'd pressure.

So I tried another method of gas delivery using a painter's pressure pot.

This one was meant to hold 3 gallons of paint then pressurized at a controlled rate, by the use of a regulator on the compressor, which forces the paint to a spray gun. Mostly used by house painters.

But it will pressurize any liquid, brake fluid for instance to create a large capacity power brake bleeder. Works great for that.

Anyway I hooked it up to the fuel pump, added some gasoline and pressure-regulated to the spec for the fuel pump-and finally got gas delivery to the engine. It starts now but runs very erratically.
Adjusting the tank pressure didn't help. There may be other controls or the module with points that lurks in the distributor that aren't quite right. Not sure and besides, the starter is beginning to revolt and locking up. I've wasted enough of my time and your time on this. I put it on Craig's List for $500. I also contacted about 10 junk yards, by the same means, looking for a best offer and pickup.

But thanks for your and everyone else's help.
