Brake Question, Non-Volvo

Pressure stays inside the flexible rubber hoses connecting the metal brake lines to the pistons. How old are these hoses? Could be corroded inside to smaller than OEM diameter and keep pressure from coming back away from the piston, thus keeping it pushed in and keeping pressure on the piston and locking the pads onto the rotors.
Let us know.
