Ah, yes, I think I saw one post w/ frayed wires (exact words).

When I get the rear up in the air, I will look for that. Where on the differential is it?

They mention using a feeler gauge through the differential lube plug hole, so I guess that's pretty self explanatory and I shouldn't ask.
