Oh, I forgot about the history of that car. I recall when the PO did the swap. We were conversating about the electrical differences between manual and auto transmission, beyond the starter inhibit. There's the shift-lock, which probably isn't there in yours (who would knowingly install that?) but also there's a lead from the cabin harness to the fuel harness that changes function via a jumper option on that connector such that misconfiguration gets a resistor inside the ECU to burning temps. That doesn't seem related, but the whole notion the mods may be what is up needs to be checked into.
I guess that ground you see on the blue yellow needs to be double checked. Make sure you didn't cook your ohmmeter with a powered circuit. The 32 ohms I figured was the shift lock relay coil. If it was stock I'd say pull fuse 12 and re-measure.
