I couldn't resist a few of the better Lucas jokes I found:

The Lucas electric motto: "Get home before dark."
Lucas, inventor of the three position switch: dim, flicker, and off.
The other three settings: smoke, smolder, and ignite.
Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, Lucas invented the short circuit.
