Actually Spook, on all my turbo cars, 92-93-94-95, the power stage is on the driver's side/left side above the battery on the inner fender. It's at a 40deg angle, is next to the rsr, and can be hard to see behind some wires.
Some do have the grey cap, but many I've pulled at the JY and were clearly recent installs, are all black with 'Bosch' in big white letters.
