Dear jerryc,

Hope you're well. You're correct: I sit corrected. Not having a turbo-equipped car, I should have looked at the diagram in Volvo VADIS, the superseded dealer parts/service database.

On non-turbo cars, the radio interference suppression relay (RSR) is on the passenger inner fender wall, just to the rear of the battery. The ignition power stage is on the opposite side of the engine bay, i.e., just to the rear of the air box.
