I bought a new 1963 PV 544 off the showroom floor in Darmstadt, Germany in June, 1963. Drove it across the street and had the Blaupunkt 3-band radio installed for $79.00, including one rear speaker. Price of car was $1,790 US dollars and included were two front seat covers and an unworkable kit that was suppose to turn the front backrests into recliners. Sold the car in 1974 with 232,000 miles.
