Some things to consider first besides an ignition tune up service.

1. Fuel pressure regulator has a bad diaphragm and is leaking gas via the vacuum line into the intake.

2. A bad coolant thermostat not bringing engine up to full operating temperature.

3. A bad computer Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. The ECU does not know the engine is warmed up putting in too much fuel.

4. The O2 sensor is dead. Not putting out the required varying .5 voltage when warmed up.
