God ideas/inventions often transcend war. The history for the Krupp Steel is repeated example. Their Locomotive wheels ((railway tyres) were used by everyone from the moment they invented them straight through two world wars.

They sold artillery fuses to all three sides of WWII...to the Axis from thei European factories and to the allies from their South American factories. Maybe only the highest level government and military officials likely knew but it was "common" knowledge.

All that from just one family.
