Well, misery loves company.
I've been pulled over 3 times so far because of YOM plates. Each case, the police had no idea what I was talking about. Like you, I carry all the info in the trunk. And they were all friendly, almost apologetic, about it afterwards.
I don't blame them as it is an obscure law.
Even the 2 law enforcement people in my own family didn't know about it.
It has turned into a little pain though as I am now constantly looking over my shoulder every time I pass a cop. I guess a good thing is it makes me behave. But sometimes I wonder if it's worth the aggravation. Especially if I'm on a schedule.
