Thanks for the encouragement everyone.
I'm frustrated and feeling like a chump.
Look at the list of maintenance items and repairs I've put into the car the past 2 years. I was thinking that if I invested into the car, it would last me another 3 or 4 years. Not looking like a very good strategy to dump that much money and time into it, given that I probably can't sell it for much more than $1,000 at this point.
