'69 145 - Thinking about converting TO a BW35 140-160 1969

In my opinion, you should try to get parts from a '71 or earlier car. You will get the long shaft transmission and column mounted gearshift and linkage.

The transmission tunnel is different on '72 and later models so a floor mounted shifter will not just bolt up to a pre'72 tunnel.

I have never seen a PRNDL indicator in a rally cluster. Don't think one exists either.

I believe I saved everything from my BW35 to M40/M41 conversions on a '72 144 and '70 145. Too bad you're on the west coast as shipping will probably be quite a bit.
