There are 2 "ECMs"— one for Fuel and the other for Ignition. Neither one is known to cause problems, and both are expensive (Regina about $850, REX $500).

Regina refers to the fuel injection system. The electrical (Ignition) system is known as Rex.
Your stalling on turns may be related to loose or degraded wiring at the Crank Position Sensor, aggravated by engine weight shift on turns. Try using the search window at upper right corner for "stalls on turns" etc.
