Sages,

I'm working on a 1992 244 and currently have a dead speedometer or so I think. The Speedometer does not move and the ABS light comes on as soon as I start moving forward or in reverse.

I'm going to do more diagnosis tonight on it, but what I really want to know right now is how can I determine if the sending unit in the rear differential is bad or not.

Is there a test that someone can describe to me that will help me eliminate that one component.
